Gabor Maté: On Addiction
& So Much More . . .

Gabor Maté at 35:24 in the video below:  The Buddha was a great psychologist.

All the great spiritual teachers are wonderful psychologists, by the way, they see into the human soul. Buddha said that once you know the source of your suffering you’re already in the way towards healing.

Here Gabor explains “Forgive them Father for they know what they do,” what Jesus says:

Jesus knows these people persecuting him don’t know what they’re doing. That’s his greatness.

He’s in touch with deep Love and he sees the frailty of the very people that are killing him and he understands so he says, “Forgive them father for they don’t know what they do . . .”

That doesn’t mean you put up with it . . . somebody’s in an abusive relationship, understanding the person does not take away from you the necessity of, perhaps, leaving that relationship.

You still have to take care of yourself.

As a matter of fact in an abusive relationship, I’m not even saying that you should understand your partner’s behavior, I say you should understand your own.

You should understand why you’re still there.

What is it that’s compelling you to put up with this and to subject yourself to it?

What sense of shame keeps you believing that you deserve this?

So, I think in an abusive relationship, I don’t talk about forgiveness much.

I talk about self-awareness . . .

60 Minutes Australia:
Time for Justice

Melanie Stansbury

May 24, 2026

Following the chilling release of the unredacted Epstein files, Melanie Stansbury exposes the horrifying extent of the sexual abuse, grooming, and trafficking that took place at Jeffrey Epstein’s secretive Zorro Ranch in New Mexico.

With the state’s Department of Justice reopening a previously suppressed investigation and physically searching the 7,500-acre property for evidence, and potentially buried bodies, the fight to expose a massive federal cover-up and bring powerful co-conspirators to justice has finally begun.

Melanie says we need to: make sure that we have a Department of Justice that will seek justice, that will try these cases and will ultimately hold perpetrators accountable, that that evidence is there.

And I think broader than that, the survivors have been very clear that it’s not just about having justice in the court system and in the justice system itself, but also that justice means that we leave a world behind for the next generation of women where women know what sexual assault looks like. that women know they can say no, and that they don’t find themselves in these situations in the future. Working with Psychedelics,
Healing Trauma

From the documentary, “In Waves and War”

To be clear, we do not endorse this type of therapy, but we have no judgement of it.

I, personally, have not tried it, preferring to do my letting go in meditation asking for help from the higher realms. I have experienced trauma therapy, and can attest to that working well for me, to get under deeper issues.

Veterans, emergency service providers, and others not in these fields, can experience distressing memories.

When traditional counseling doesn’t provide the help needed, many are turning to psychedelic-assisted therapy.

In treatment, what one has spent years running from, can be faced into for the release, with the trained assistance.

February 26, 2026

For many veterans and first responders, the most difficult battles begin long after service ends.

Years after traumatic events, memories can resurface with unexpected intensity, nervous systems having carried unprocessed trauma for years.

Depression, emotional withdrawal, anger, flashbacks, and nervous system hyper-vigilance often emerge long after a career built on strength and composure,

Safely revisiting and processing experiences that traditional talk therapy alone may not fully access, this is where psychedelics can work for emotional release, nervous system regulation, and profound shifts in perspective.

Safe Parking in San Diego

This lady embodies the ‘Teresa energy,‘  the essence that has come to Earth again and again and again to teach us the lessons of service, of Love, the power of prayer.

Taking care of the sick, the elderly, and the dis-empowered, most notably and recently, the ‘Teresa energy’ on planet was Mother Theresa.

Here, Teresa Smith, CEO of Dreams for Change, whether she consciously knows it or not, is on purpose working with the Ascension energies, lifting our most disenfranchised up out of extreme lack . . .

Below, she speaks about a program she created in San Diego, Safe Parking for our homeless, many of them seniors.

As rents continue to skyrocket across America, more people are being pushed into homelessness—and for many, their car is the last stop before the street. [Read more…]

Dr. Esther Duflo: Why Are Some People
Born Into Poverty & Never Escape It?

Dr. Ester Duflo

Found on FaceBook, American Memories. . .

Dr. Ester Duflo is the 2nd woman in history, and the youngest person ever, to win a Nobel Prize in Economics. 46 year old MIT professor transformed the field of development economics and helped improve the lives of millions of poor people around the world.

The phone rang at 4:45 in the morning.

Esther Duflo answered it half-asleep — and the voice on the other end told her she had just won the Nobel Prize in Economics.

There was a pause.

“With whom?”

When they named Abhijit Banerjee and Michael Kremer, she said — “Oh. Do you want to talk to him?” — and handed the phone to her husband, still lying beside her in the dark.

That one moment tells you everything.

Esther Duflo grew up in Paris. She came to MIT in the late 1990s to study why some people are born into poverty and never escape it — and whether anything, done carefully enough, could actually change that. The question had haunted economists for generations. Most answered it with big theories and bigger programs. Some worked. Many didn’t. Almost none were ever properly tested.

Duflo asked a different question entirely.

What if we stopped arguing about what should work — and started finding out what actually does?

She borrowed a tool from medicine: the randomized controlled trial. One community gets an intervention. Another doesn’t. Outcomes are measured. Results are compared. No ideology. No assumptions. Just evidence.

At the time, this was radical. Many economists believed poverty was far too complex and human for clinical testing. Duflo believed the opposite — that complexity was exactly why testing mattered most. [Read more…]
